Today, the Epsom Downs Branch in Surrey is a modern single track branchline,
connected to the sprawling suburban rail network of London.
In the past, however, it was a double-track line with a nine platform terminus,
catering for crowds of horse racing spectators bound for the Epsom Downs Racecourse.
