Tail wags dog The diminuitive Tm 237 shunter owned by the Deisswil cardboard factory (served by the narrow gauge RBS line from Zollikofen to Worb by means of a third rail to standard gauge) is somewhat dwarfed by the Nordwaggon Habils it is shunting.

RABDe 510 Originally classed RABDe 12/12, these suburban commuter multiple units (formerly known as Mirage) have been converted for a further lease of life on the Zurich S-Bahn as of 1997 and designated RABDe 510. This unit waits at Zurich main station with an S14 service to Hinwil.

Ae 6/6 Grenchen and Re 6/6 Wangen bei Olten Ae 6/6 11506 Grenchen passes stabled Re 6/6 11620 Wangen bei Olten as it runs through Ostermundigen with a mixed SBB Cargo freight. Like most of its classmates, this loco has temporarily lost its coat of arms in mid-March as a preventive anti-theft measure.

Re 460 009-5 Der Kluge liest im Zuge - Blick Re 460 009-5, waiting for the right away at Thun, is one of a number of Re 460s displaying the (very basic) advertising scheme for Swiss tabloid newspaper Blick. The slogan ("People with brains read on trains") originated with SBB a long long time ago.

Ae 6/6 Wohlen AG Ae 6/6 11491 Wohlen AG stabled over the weekend in Thun, deprived of its coat of arms as SBB Cargo stripped the regalia off virtually all Ae 6/6 in mid-March - a measure to counteract the rise in thefts of coats of arms, letters, numbers and manufacturer's plates from different Ae 6/6.
